5-AMINOLOVULINIC ACID (ALA)

Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) is a non-invasive acne treatment that uses a blue LED light in combination with a medication called 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA). This therapy targets acne by reducing the size of oil glands and minimizing the bacteria responsible for breakouts. The combination of ALA and blue LED light successfully penetrates the skin to eliminate P. acnes, the bacteria that contribute to acne. These bacteria often multiply in hair follicles, causing inflammation and clogged pores that eventually lead to painful pimples. Following treatment, it is essential to avoid exposure to intense light sources such as sunlight, bright indoor lighting and computer screens for the initial 48 hours.

EUCALYPTUS OIL

Eucalyptus oil has natural antiseptic properties and offers antifungal, antiviral, anti- inflammatory, and antibacterial benefits.
